My Summaries and Reviews...

Bakuretsu Hunters -- I have only seen the first four episodes, but from what I see, there are five Sorcerer Hunters who kill off evil sorcerers or something.

I think this show is interesting, but I don't think that I have gotten to the plot of the series yet so I couldn't tell you much about it.

Debut 1-2 -- um, I kind of fell asleep before I got to watching this anime (it was after mystery theater)...so coming soon.

coming soon

Detective Boy Conan-- Detective Boy Conan is a high school student detective who is the next Sherlock Holmes. He is great at solving mysteries, and the way he solves them and how he figures it out is very cool! However, when he got caught spying on bad guys, those bad guys attempt to kill him by feeding him poison but instead he doesn't die and he shrinks! So he looks like he's 7 years old or something.

I highly recommend this series. It's one of my favorites, and it's extremely popular in Japan, where there are two movies out (one of which is playing right now) and the series is still going on. It's not totally action packed or anything, but it's really cool. ^_^ If you know anyone that has episodes 12+ subbed, let me know!

Fushigi Yuugi--It all begins when Yui and Miaka, two high school students are sucked into a book and transported into another world! Miaka becomes the protector of Konan Country, and she is called the Suzaku no Miko. She has to find all her seven star seishi (her protectors who have special powers and have a kanji - chinese character - mark somewhere on their body). She must call Suzaku (the animal god of Konan Country) and she will be granted three wishes.

I LOVE this series and I highly recommend it. There's a ton of stuff going on during the series, like romance, betrayal, evil people, and it's just one all round great show.

Hime Chan no Ribbon -- Hime chan is given a magical ribbon that allows her to transform into anybody for one hour. She is given the ribbon by Erika, a princess of the Magic World, and Hime-chan has to use the ribbon for one whole year, and if the item proves to be a useful magical item then Erika can become the ruler of the Magic World. Of course, throughout the series there are very many complications that come with it.

I like this series; it is very cute. If you like shoujo anime, then you'll enjoy this. ^^

I'll make a habit of it -- A famous girl idol singer who is secretly really good at judo decides to go to school. The problem is, it's an all boys school. That's when she decides that she'll cut off her hair and go as a boy! Then she falls in love with someone there who doesn't know that she's really a girl.

It's not really what I expected (I thought it would be more realistic) but the girl has pink hair and she does judo with her bear, and it's actually rather silly. (not in a bad way though) it's a very cutesy anime, but it's entertaining to watch.

Kodomo no Omacha (Child's Toy) -- Sana-chan is an over-hyper child actress that stars in a TV show called Child's Toy. Her classroom is terrorized by her fellow classmate Hayama and his followers who do nothing but throw things, run around the classroom, and make the teacher cry. Sana-chan is trying to find Hayama's weakness so that she can blackmail him into stopping his classmates from ruining the classroom.

I highly recommend this series. I was skeptical about whether this would be good at first, but I find it hilarious and great! (keep in mind I'm also into shoujo anime and stuff.) I love this series, and I'm also looking for the rest of this! anyone have episodes 21+?

Macross 7 -- I haven't really seen it yet, but I heard it's about someone who is really into music or something. Summary coming soon....

Review coming soon...

Magical Knights Rayearth -- Hikaru, Fuu, and Umi, three eighth grade students, are transported to the island of Cefiro to save Princess Esmeraude from the evil Zagato, and by saving the princess the island will be saved from destruction. There, they are given armor by a wizard named Clef, and they have to develop their power and magic in order to defeat the evil people.

I like this series a lot, and if you like Sailor Moon and "magical girls" anime, then I'd definitely recommend this.

Mahou Tsukai Tai (Magic Users Club) -- Aliens come to earth and they just sort of site around and do nothing but examine magic. They don't bother anyone and they are just kind of there, but people still want to get rid of them. The Magic Users Club tries to learn magic and devise ways to get rid of them i think.

This is interesting and it is fun to watch, but it's just kind of like a I'd add it to the collection - i'd watch it again after I finish watch Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, Slayers - kind of anime.

Mystery Theater -- Two stories - the first one is about this girl who finds a camera, and develops the film. Then she finds a picture of herself with this boy that she's never seen before! twilight zone...and the second one is about these three girls who find dig up their tima capsule and realize that there was a fourth girl who had stuff in there too, but they don't remember who it was!

Interesting...

Nurse Angel Ririka SOS -- Moriya Ririka is given an Angel Cap by Kanou-sempai to fight against the Dark Joker who is trying to take over the earth. For a more detailed summary, go here.

I recommend this series, (yes, it's another magical girls series) if you like Magical Knights, Sailor Moon, etc. At first, it seems kind of like the same old thing over and over again, but it really starts to get interesting around episode 12+. I like it this a lot too!

Sailor Moon -- This is a very famous series about the Sailor Scouts who save the world from evil and stuff. Go here for my Sailor Moon page.

Same thing, if you like magical girls, you'll love this...

Shamanic Princess -- This OAV series is about a girl named Tiara (yeah, so I liked that name ^_^) who is trying to retrieve a very powerful Yold's seat (looks like a painting) from two people that have stolen it, Kagetsu (Tiara's ex-boyfriend) and Lena (One of Tiara's good friends). They stole it because Kagetsu's sister (who is also Tiara's best friend) named Sarah, is trapped inside.

I like this OAV series a lot too; it's very very interesting. It gets you hooked. However, if you like magical girls kind of shoujo anime, this might not appeal to you because it can get a bit gory at times, but it also involved magic and fantasy. I'd definitely recommend this one. (I want to see what happens next!)

Slayers -- Slayers is about an awesome 16 year old sorceress, Lina Inverse and her friends. They go around and do magic stuff. I can't really explain it...there's plots to different series. (too many i can't keep track)

I like this - I think it's funny. It seems kind of weird and silly at first, but it grows on you. I'd recommend this too!

Tobira O Akete -- Three people that are transported to another dimension and their magic powers are amplified in that dimension. They try to save people.

Quite frankly, I was disappointed with this movie. It's actually good; it's just I expected better, like some super cool fighting action movie. The ending is surprising, and I'd probably watch it again.

Visions of Escaflowne -- A girl named Hitomi is transported to Gaea, a planet where the Earth and the Moon are in the sky. She accidently goes there with Van Farnel, the new King of Farnelia. Farnelia is attacked by invisible enemies and Van must awaken the armor of Escaflowne. For a more detailed summary, go here.

I HIGHLY recommend this series - I love this show!!!! Although the last three volumes are a little different than the first four, this show is the best! And it has great music to top it off! ok..enough raving about Escaflowne...WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY

Yawara! -- Yawara is a girl who is VERY good at judo (she was, after all, taught by the only man to win five straight national championships - Jigoro Inokuma, her grandfather.) Her grandfather is trying to make Yawara have a great debut into the world of judo, and he wants her to win the National Achievement award and the gold medal in the Barcelona Olympics, but the problem is, Yawara doesn't really want to.

I like this series - it's very cool. It kind of bothers be that Yawara doesn't want to do judo though, seeing as to how she's so good and all, but whatever. There are 124 episodes in this series, and I want to see what happens!
